Summer Carb Goodness

Extra virgin olive oil
1 small, diced onion
2 lbs. zucchini...slice into quarter inch thick pieces
2 garlic cloves (minced) OR 2 tablespoons chopped green garlic
1 oz. basil (~2 cups loose leaves)
1 pound your fav noodle type (NYT recommends Ziti)
8 oz. ricotta (~1 cup)
1 cup grated fancy Italian cheese (parmesan, pecorino)
Salt and pepper
Pinch of crushed red pepper
Zest of 1 lemon

The arts and other interests are extremely important. Without them, entertainment and fun, quite frankly, wouldn't exist in this world. We'd be robots programmed for a miserable life. Support the arts community. After all, some people end up making their livings from the arts. If you want to save jobs for Americans, don't limit their options.

CLIMATE CHANGE F***ING EXISTS. Even the smallest mathematical change on paper can mean an astronomical impact on the actual planet...and your life. The EPA matters, climate control matters. You don't need to hate the climate to love America. In fact, if you really want to put America first, you should be one of the biggest believers in climate change, as the US is a leader in harmful emissions. Get your heads out of the gutter and wake up or tell people to if you're already with the program (thank god). We're not going to be living on mars anytime soon...we'll be under water.
